It's after the Saint Stupid's Day parade, are you still feeling a bit peckish and looking to sate your need to be silly, but, don't know what to do? Might we suggest a bit more merriment and ribaldry to aid in your recovery? Well then, come on down to the 6th annual after Saint Stupid's Day parade, after party; tent revival and swap meet at Thee Parkside! It's just what the Bishop ordered! But, be sure to come to Thee Parkside afterwards for a celebration of all that is held dear by Saint Stupid himself; music, food, drinks and lots of fun!
Our fabulous guest MC will be none other than the illustrious Michael Peppe. Michael will regale all with his wizardry of the spoken word and weave a tapestry of trance inducing poetry. Plenty of musical interludes will be provided by the likes of some of San Francisco's most intriguing acts. Los Banos kicks off the night with their brand of wacky, mariachi inspired, clown entrenched, lyrical interpretations and will have you panting for more. Just like the prison camp they are named after, Abu Ghraib will hold you hostage with their heavy metal style of music and leave you wishing water boarding was still on the menu. America; fuck yeah! Next up, those Minstrels of Mayhem, Fluffgrrl, will thrill, delight and assault all the senses as they play their version of post-punk, pre-apocalyptic, art-fag rock. Rounding out the night is none other than Evolution Control Committee. ECC has been assailing the land with illegal music since 1986. Those of you unfamiliar with
their shenanigans shall be forewarned; this ain't your mama's electronic music! John Law will be on hand with some slide excerpts from his foray on the road with the Dogminican Trio. Manny, Moe and Jack will be present!

The 1st Annual Pranks Film Festival is a three day celebration and tribute to the “Art of the Prank” and those pranksters that have courage enough to pull them off.
The Festival will screen films about the masters like Alan Abel, John Law, The Cacophany Society and the Billboard Liberation Front and short docs from the newest infiltrators and prankster, like the Yes Men, Harmon Leon and Joey Skaggs. This is a festival that is both humorous and political.

For the past 29 years Bishop Joey and his "followers" have
celebrated all that is stupid by holding a parade. After the parade, you are all
invited to come on down to Fat City (formally Studio Z) located at 314 11th Street
and Folsom, in San Francisco. For the past 5 years, we have paid further homage
to all that is stupid by continuing the celebration with an after parade, after
party extravaganza!
Loads of thrills, chills and spills to excite, entertain and elevate your senses!
All children 21 and over are invited to attend. Here is just a glimmer of what
you will encounter once you walk through the door. Our super special guest host
with the most, Professor Dave Apocalypse, a master escape artiste, raconteur and
all around swell guy, will astonish and delight. Music, musings, general melee
and more than mediocrity will be provided for one and all. "Clowns and Fetuses",
an experimental, psychedelic punk band from LA, who liken their assemblage to ethnic
music for the tone deaf, begin the festivities. The Bay Area phenomenon, "Skitzo"
will stagger you with their version of thrashy, exorcist style, heavy metal music
(don't forget to bring your raincoat!). The fantabulous and fantastical Chanteuse
of the Ivories, "Kitten on the Keys" will be regaling us with her perky, mellifluous
and melodical piano interpretations. Always to "Dumb to Die" but not too dumb to
pass
up a party, SF's own clowns of cacophony, "Los Banos", the Cyclecide Rodeo band,
will be there to kick things up a notch or two with their wacky antics, kooky bikes
and kick ass attitude. Next up, assaulting all your faculties, San Francisco's
Minstrels of Mayhem, the post punk pre-apocalyptic musical stylings of "Fluffgrrl"
will excite and amaze. Yes, there's more! Inducing us all into apoplectic seizures
with their mutated, post-industrial carnival style thrash, the Mistresses of Metal,
"Binky" will be shredding all that is in sight. Rounding out the festivities, "Frank
Moore and his Cherotic Allstars", words cannot describe the aural and auditory hallucinations,
preparations and incantations that Frank and his merry band of musicians will astound
and confound you with. All this and so much more, way too much to describe, one
